What is a Base Object in Informatica MDM?

A Base Object is the central repository for master data in the MDM Hub. It stores the consolidated, trusted version of records after matching and merging.

Survivorship is the process of selecting the most trusted attribute values from matched records to form a “golden record” based on defined trust rules and source system priorities.
